The Embassy of Uganda has updated it's visa application. The new Uganda visa application has been uploaded to our website.
Coming to the US soon is the East Africa visa, intended for tourists, which will allow a traveler to apply for a single joint visa to three East African countries:Uganda, Kenya, Rwand. Travelers may apply for visas in any one of these nations and be eligible to travel freely to the other two countries. For example, you may apply for a Ugandan visa and with that, travel to Rwanda and Kenya as well.
This East Africa visa will (tentatively) be $100 and allow for unlimited number of entries into any of these three countries for up to 90 days.
Phyllis Kandie, Kenyan Secretary of East Africa Affairs, Commerce and Tourism, stated that this new joint East Africa visa will “enable tourists [to] have a one-stop border checkpoint, and generally open the region for more visitors.” She also remarked, “We are delighted to be joining hands with our neighbors in a move that will benefit tourists visiting our diverse region.”
