The Consulate of the Philippines is currently only accepting visa applications for “qualified” applicants at this time. Before placing your order you must email, chat or call us (1-888-596-6028) so that we may assist you in determining if you qualify. Please further note even if you are deemed “qualified” there is no guarantee the Consulate will issue you a visa—visas are issued at the sole discretion and authority of the Philippine Government.
Qualified visa applicants meet the following criteria:
1. Foreigner married to a Filipino citizen. Filipino spouse traveling with you or currently residing in the Philippines. The following documents are to be submitted as proof:
- Marriage certificate: IF issued in the Philippines it must be the original document issued by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) OR if issued by the U.S. Government, it must have an apostille / be authenticated
- Copy of Filipino spouse’s passport
- Copy of the Dual Citizenship Certificate or Permanent Resident Card of the Filipino spouse (if any)
- Notarized letter from Filipino spouse stating the following:
(1) That he/she is in the Philippines, and
(2) Indicate specific purpose of travel and that he/she guarantees all moral obligations to be incurred by the foreign spouse while in the Philippines
- If Filipino spouse is not currently in the Philippines: travel itinerary confirming travel to the Philippines together (several days apart is acceptable)
2. Foreign parents of minor Filipino citizens (ages 17 and below). Filipino minor must be traveling with you or currently residing in the Philippines. Required proof of documentation:
- Copy of birth certificate or proof of relationship
- Copy of passport/proof of citizenship of Filipino minor
- If traveling together with Filipino minor: proof of travel itinerary (same itinerary)
3. Foreign minor children (ages 17and below) of Filipino citizens. Required proof of documentation:
- Copy of your marriage certificate: IF issued in the Philippines must be issued by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) OR if issued by the U.S. Government must have an apostille / be authenticated
- Copy of passport/proof of citizenship of minor
- Copy of birth certificate or proof of relationship
- Travel itinerary confirming travel to the Philippines together with parents
Please complete, and print the Philippines visa application form. The application form must be signed. Incomplete or unsigned applications will delay the application process.
The application form must be notarized by a local Notary Public.

You must send your passport – a copy is not acceptable.

Your signed passport must have more than 6 months validity remaining to apply for a visa. Visa will not be issued with less than 6 months validity.

Must contain sufficient blank visa pages. Visas are affixed to the blank "Visa" pages of your passport. "Amendment" pages (clearly marked as such) in the back of your passport are not acceptable for visa issuance.
If your passport does not meet these requirements, you must renew your passport or obtain a new one prior to applying for your visa.
