Your U.S. passport must be valid for a minimum of 6 months from the date you plan to depart Bolivia.
Your passport must have adequate unused visa pages to allow for entry and exit stamps upon arrival and departure from Bolivia.
Please note that Amendment pages in the back of your passport are not to be used for entry and exit stamps or visa issuance.
Applications for Bolivian visas may only be submitted within 90 days of the date of entry to Bolivia.
The Bolivia tourist visa is typically issued for multiple entry, valid for 10 years from the date of issue provided the passport remains valid. Bolivia business visa is valid for 1 month, single entry, with validity starting from date of issue.
