The embassy does not accept application submissions on Fridays. Please consider this when selecting your visa processing time. The Nigerian tourist or business visa is typically issued for entry within ninety days of the date of issue for stays of 7 to 90 days, as granted by the Consulate. The visit must be completed prior to the expiry date of the visa. The multiple entry visa is valid six months for a stay of 7-90 days on per visit.

Nigeria Visa
A passport and valid Nigeria visa are required to enter Nigeria. The Nigeria visa must be obtained in advance from a Nigerian Embassy or Consulate. Nigeria visas cannot be obtained on arrival at the airport. U.S. citizens cannot legally depart Nigeria unless they can prove, by presenting their Nigeria entry visa, that they entered Nigeria legally.10/30/2007
