| Notes | Please note: The Embassy of Angola will be close from December 23rd through January 5th, 2010. They will reopen on January 6th. Please plan your visa processing accordingly.
The Embassy accepts visa application submissions on Mondays and Wednesdays only. Tuesdays and Thursdays are designated dates for passport/visa collection for previously submitted applications for visa. The Embassy will typically processes your visa application in 10 business days for oil related business travel, or 4 to 8 weeks for other business purposes. The Embassy must obtain approval from Luanda before the business visa can be issued. This accounts for the long processing time. We cannot guarantee when your visa will be issued. A passport and Angola visa are required and must be obtained in advance. An International Certificate of Vaccination is required. Visitors should allow several weeks for the processing of their Angola visa application. Angola does not issue airport visas. Persons arriving without Angola visas are subject to arrest or exclusion. Travelers may also encounter delays if they do not have at least one completely blank visa page in their passports for entry stamps.
