6. Multiple-entry work permits (MEWPs)

UK Visa-Student

You must be able to show that you have been accepted on a course of study or for a period of research at an educational establishment that is on the UK's Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills Register of Education and Training Providers.

UK Visa- Business

> Go to meetings, conferences, trade fairs or seminars
> Buy, check details of, or examine goods.
> Deliver goods from abroad, for example as a lorry driver.
> Negotiate or sign trade agreements or contracts.
> Go for interviews - including a sportsperson or an entertainer
> Carry out fact-finding missions, such as a journalist
> Act as an adviser, consultant, trainer or investigator
> Act as tour-group carriers
> Act as interpreters or translators
> Act as representatives of computer-software companies
> Act as a representative of a foreign company
> Take part in training techniques and work practices

UK Visa- Transit

Travelers who want to pass through the United Kingdom (UK) on the way 'in transit' to another country.

UK Visa- Settlement

>You want to settle in the United Kingdom (UK) as the husband, wife, civil partner, fiancé, fiancée, proposed civil partner, or unmarried partner or same-sex partner of someone who is coming to the UK or is already 'present and settled'.

>You want to live in the United Kingdom (UK) with relatives already living there.

>Adopted children coming to join one or both of their parents in the United Kingdom (UK), and children coming to the UK to be adopted.

UK Territory & Commonwealth Visa

For travel to the overseas territories and the Commonwealth of the United Kingdom. The Overseas Territories of the United Kingdom are: Anguilla, Bermuda, British Antarctic Terriroty, British India Ocean Territory, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Falkland Islands, Gibraltar, Montserrat, Pitcairn Islands, Saint Helena (including Ascension, Tristan da Cuhna), South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands, Sovereign Base Areas of Akrotiri and Dhekelia, Turks and Caicos Islands.
