However, the Embassy of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea requests that the following documents must be submitted to the embassy prior to travel: - Two completed and signed visa applications with passport-type photographs attached to each. If traveling on tourism: - Proof of sufficient funds, minimum of $2,000.00 (Recent bank statement.) If traveling on business: - Letter from the employer stating the nature and duration of business, as well as a financial statement confirming a minimum of $2,000.00 for the expenses while in Equatorial Guinea. Additional Notes: Citizens of the United States must present the following documents upon arrival: - Original United States Passport with at least 6 months of remaining validity. - Proof of Smallpox, Yellow Fever and Cholera immunization. -For stays longer than 90 days: a permit from the National Police Bureau in Malabo or Bata must be obtained. Proof of sufficient funds for the duration of stay or an employment contract must also be presented.
