1. The following nationals may apply for an ETA (Electronic Travel Authority) visa: United States, Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Brunei, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong SAR, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea (South), Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, San Marino, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UK- British Citizen, UK- BNO, Vatican City.

* Holders of Taiwan passports can only be processed for an ETA if resident in and applying in Taiwan.

** Holders of UK passports which indicate their nationality to be British National (Overseas) can only be processed for an ETA if resident in and applying in Hong Kong.

Tourist ETA: For people to visit Australia for holiday, sightseeing, social or recreational reasons, to visit relatives, friends or for other short-term non-work purposes.

Business ETA: For people to come to Australia for a business-related visit. Also for people to establish, manage or develop a new or existing business, or invest in Australia.

*For Business Multiple Entry visas please note the validity of the visa is a maximum ten (10) years or until your current passport expires.
