Chinese Student Visa

There are two classifications of the Chinese Student visa. An "F" visa is issued to those who will be staying less than 180 days. For those staying greater than 180 days an "X" visa is issued. The holder of a (X) visa must go through residential formalities in the local public security department within thirty days of entry into China.
