Closings: Jan 19 & 20
01/27/2009 (Top)

On Monday January 19th, in honor of the MLK Jr. holiday, the U.S. State Department (Passport Agency) and the Embassies and Consulates will be closed. Passport Visa Express.com will also be closed.

On January 20th, there will be extensive road closures in Washington DC due to inaugural events, including the closure of all bridges between Virginia and Washington DC. This will severly limit our ability to access embassies and the State Department agencies inside the city. We anticipate that pick-ups and submissions of visas will be close to if not entirely impossible.

In addition, the US Passport Office and many embassies will be closed for the Inauguration.

Normal processing will resume on Wednesday, January 21st. Please contact us if you are concerned about the processing of your visa or passport request.
