Question: What can I do if I'm having trouble completing the online visa application?

Answer: Please verify that javascript and cookies are enabled on your computer. Also check that the date/time on your computer is set correctly. If the date/time is set in the future, this can result in not being able to advance past the first page in some browsers.

Question: Can I save my application, and come back to it later?

Answer: Unfortunately, for reasons of data integrity, ease of use and security we can't save your application data so that you can work on it later. Please make sure to have all your information together before you begin the application.

Question: Is there a different version of the application that can be faxed or emailed to me?

Answer: You must use the online application form. This form is bar coded and will store your information securely for faster processing. No handwritten application forms will be accepted.

Question: I can't check yes to Question 9

Answer: If you are a US Citizen then you can't answer this question. The correct answer is no.

Question: What information will I need to complete the application?

Answer: Here's a complete list of all the information you will need to complete the application:

Question: If I completed the online application, but the visa application PDF did not appear on the print page, what should I do?

Answer: Most often, this occurs when there are problems with the Adobe Reader on the computer. We suggest trying to reprint the application by going to Track Passport, entering the application id and last name, then clicking on "Reprint Application Here". If that does not work, try using a different computer to reprint your application in Track Passport.

Question: Can I Apply In Person For My Family Members, Children or Associates?

Answer: Yes, you can apply for your family members, children or associates without them being present. They will need to sign all documents ahead of time. For minors, the parents should sign the application.

Question: Do children require a visa to visit India?

Answer: Yes, all travelers including children must have a valid visa to travel to India. Please complete a separate application for each child. For minors, the parents should sign the application.
