ENTRY/EXIT REQUIREMENTS:  A passport is required.  U.S. citizens visiting for 90 days or less do not need a visa to enter Georgia.

COUNTRY DESCRIPTION:  Georgia is a constitutional republic with a developing economy.  Tourist facilities outside of Tbilisi are not highly developed, and many of the goods and services taken for granted in other countries are not yet available.  Read the Department of State Background Notes on Georgia for additional information.
